Jacob broke out his gator. He attached his shovel to it and scooped snow as he drove. 

Josh and I sat inside laughing watching him drive around in circles. 

Basketball was good. We only had 5 players & he was tired after. Jacob had two baskets, he blocked two shots, & numerous rebounds.

Another fun weekend of basketball. He had one basket and did a great job of passing to others on his team.

The Hat Man

Jacob had Riley week at school. It raises money for the children at Riley Hospital and we had spirit days throughout the week as well. 

Crazy Hat Day

I wanted a new stocking cap. Somehow, as soon as it was purchased, it went on his head instead of mine. He does look cuter than me in it. 

With the cold wind this week, Starbucks was a must....and popcorn. 

....and some Valentine's Day cookies from Nana & Bumpa.

No baskets this week, but he said he still had fun. 

Another Busy Few Weeks

We've stayed busy. Boomer came to school to pump the kids up for their standardized testing & to remind them to be healthy, Payton had a birthday, Jacob had basketball, and we also found some time to hang out. 

Eclectic

A word I would use to describe Jacob's interests and I wouldn't have it any other way. He was a movie critic, a basketball player, a scientist, and a bowler. 

Friday night we had a date at the movies watching Paddington. He enjoyed popcorn, M & Ms, Sprite, and Junior Mints. Danville has a movie theatre that shows one film a week and it cost me $15 dollars for the two tickets & a kid's popcorn snack meal. Not too shabby.

Saturday was spent at the Pacers basketball camp. He said it was hard and he was tired after. They played for a solid 1 1/2 hours and was very well organized.

Today, he had watermelon for breakfast and decided we need to grow watermelons. We'll see how this experiment goes. He grew seeds at school by wrapping them in wet paper towels and was able to watch them grow.

We finished the weekend off with "Pins, Pizza, and Pop." A month ago I found out I won a drawing for two hours of bowling, pizza, and pop. We cashed it in and when the pizza took forever, they gave us another hour of free bowling. Three hours is a long time to bowl!!!

Birthday Bash

We had a great weekend hosting the birthdays in our new home.

The great thing about family weekends, is how tired Jacob is after them.

The hill just beyond our fence is the sledding hill. Score!!! I can stay in where it's nice and warm & watch him sled. Life is good. Of course today I was not the "cool" mom. I said no to sledding......it's -17 degrees out.
