Pumpkin Carving Contest

We had our first pumpkin carving contest. The teams were drawn out of a hat. Everyone had a great time. 

The reading of the votes. The trophy was made out of a plunger, pumpkins, and a skull topper.

A Brave Boy

A mom is always proud of their son, but Jacob has amazed me this week. He was so brave before and after his surgery. It brought me to tears at time. 

Yesterday was the first day without any medication. He spent the evening with his cousins and they have been so good about playing gentle. Jacob will return to school on Monday. We do have instructions to keep him from P.E. and recess activities. We have our follow-up appointment Friday. 

His Kindergarten class sent him balloons & a stuffed animal. It made his day. 

Pumpkin Patch

One of our favorite places in the fall is the pumpkin patch in Arthur. We had another great visit this year.

Final game....

Jacob loved flag football. It may just be his favorite sport. He scored three touchdowns and pulled two flags. We're all sad to see the season end. 

The perfect size....

Wrigs helped me grade papers. The basket was used for my students' projects, but it was just the perfect size for "himself." 

Breakfast for mom...

Jacob insisted on making me breakfast this morning. He even cut up my waffle for me....into two very large pieces. I guess he thinks I have a big mouth....no comments. 

Power Rangers

Cartoons are so much better when dressed as a Power Ranger. The child definently gets his wear out of his Halloween costumes.
