All Good Things....

must come to an end. Tackle football is officially over. We can't really tell if Jacob is happy or sad about it. We'll see if he wants to play again next year. 

We also had BIF for the weekend. Each week a different students gets the classroom dog, BIF. You take him with you on adventures and then write about it in a classroom scrapbook. 

He rode on the Homecoming float with Eagle.

Ate guacamole

Finally, watched a baseball game. 

Oktoberfest

The Trames know how to throw a party. A full weekend spent in Chicago.

Ryan started off the weekend with a friend's bday party at Chuckie Cheese's. He had a great time. When isn't Ryan having fun?

We took the big kids swimming at our hotel and then had some rest time watching cartoons.

Oktoberfest then began....

The night had to end at some point. 

A Week in the Life of Jacob....

Sunday was another game of baseball. He did well and his team actually played like a team. 

Dinner out. Who doesn't want a pickle the size of their head?

The biggest event of his week was being one of the top 10 money earners for Eagle. We have a Fun Run every year where the kids run and ask for donations. The family, and some friends, really helped out. He won an iPod Touch and is one happy boy.....so are his parents considering it was on his Santa list for this year. Thanks everyone. 

He tied with a little girl and had to play Rock, Paper, Scissors to see who picked their prize first. Ella won. 

The school raised over $19,500.00. Impressive. All of that money is used for the school.

Football and Goofiness...

The junior football players made the tunnel for the varsity players to run thru Friday night. Jacob had fun and it was a great game to watch. 

We then had a nice weekend in Mattoon. Jacob has taken a liking to putt-putt.

Jacob had a birthday party for a school friend. Josh took him shopping to buy his friend Logan's gift. The card he picked out....

Jacob had Brodie spend the night this weekend. We took the kids to Jump N' Play to bounce and they wanted to play some games. Jacob, of course, hit a machine for 1,000 tickets. The "Jackpot." More "treasures" to take home. 

Every child needs a huge blow up bat.
