A Change...

Hi All,
 It's been awhile since we've posted. Life has been crazy lately. We had a nice time in Mattoon last weekend celebrating Mom's and Trever's birthdays. The kids had a great time together and Ellie thinks it's hilarous when Jacob says her name. They had fun destroying the house together.
 Our day care lady, J.J., has decided to remarry and retire. She gave us two weeks notice and this Friday is Jake's last day. Needless to say we were devastated at first, but are looking at the positives now. Jake will start Buttons and Bows day care on Monday. It's a center which is located at the end of our new neighborhood. Very convenient. It is a Christian center, so he will get academics and some religion; which is good. We need a place that does preschool, when the time comes, seeing as we both work. All in all we feel it will be a good change and Jake will benefit from it. I'm sure Monday will be harder on me than him.
 We don't have any new pictures, except for the one below. Jacob has become a human monkey. He is on everything.

Snow Days!

Jake and I had two snow days this week. It was nice to be off, but it did get a little hard to entertain the boy. If you have ever wondered what a 1 1/2 year old does when it's too cold to go outside, just look below...

1) Make a lovely drawing.

2) Place stickers all over your body....and house.









3) Play on a box and torment Wrigs.

4) It can't be all fun and games. One must check in with the office.

5) Get a little exercise while dancing to Black Eyed Peas.

6) Wear Da-Da's shoes around the house and torment the kitty, again.

A Birthday Filled Weekend

Saturday was Payton and Mom/Jan/Nana's birthdays. We were sorry to miss spending the day with mom, but enjoyed celebrating Payton's big 1st birthday with the family.  All of the kids had a great time.  Payton LOVED her cake. She ate a ton of icing and a little bit of cake. The boys enjoyed their cupcakes and ice cream too.

Sunday we spent the day at home cleaning and playing. Jake helped mommy make asparagus. He loved snapping the ends off. He's a great little helper!

Jake had his last night of Kindermusik this evening. He spent most of his time in class doing whatever he pleased instead of following the instructor. I'm sure that doesn't surprise anyone. Enjoy the pictures below. We attempted to take a class picture, as you can see, it's not the best.

Go Colts!!

We had a very busy weekend. Nana and Bumpa came over to watch Jake for the weekend. Josh and I attended a wedding and Josh was the best man. It was nice to get out, but after the rehearsal dinner, wedding, and Colts game on Sunday, we are all exhausted. Jake had a great time with Nana and Bumpa. They played hard and went to the Children's Museum on Sunday. I'm not sure who had more fun, Jake or Nana and Bumpa.

A Lazy Weekend

We had a pretty lazy weekend. It was very nice. Friday, Jake had a few friends over and Saturday we helped Grammie and Poppy move stuff into their new house. Jake and Brodie pretty much ran around and Payton watched. Today we just spent the day at home.  Josh made a fort for Jake and then had a dance party in the kitchen after dinner. We did buy him a new potty and Wrigs spent most of the evening in the box. We realized Wrigley isn't the smartest cat on the block. He didn't really catch on that putting himself in a confined spot would make it even easier for Jake to torment him. I finally moved the box onto the dryer.
