Power Rangers

Cartoons are so much better when dressed as a Power Ranger. The child definently gets his wear out of his Halloween costumes. 

Game Day

Jacob had his first flag football game Saturday. The hours could not pass by fast enough this morning. He was excited, to put it mildly. He captured one flag and made one touchdown. I'm not sure there is a sport this kid can't play. He makes us all proud! 

Future Hoosier

Open House

Jacob had his open house last night. The kids sang songs, we visited their classroom, and had refreshments after. He seems to be enjoying it all. His teacher is having some back problems. She received a Cortisone shot today. Hopefully it works. If not, it looks like she'll be out for awhile. 

We have sold our house. The people may want it as early as October 14. We've been looking at homes in Brownsburg. Nothing yet. We may have to do some apartment living for awhile. 

Color Me Rad/Draft Day

It's been a busy Saturday. Josh & I did the Color Me Rad run this morning with friends. The cool temperature made it a great day for running. We raced home to shower and then headed to practice and draft day for flag football. They are the Titans and Jacob is #6. He's really loving football. His first game is next Saturday. 

The "Frog Catcher"

If you ever need to catch a frog, Jacob is your man. A friend of ours had a frog in their car & Jake came to the rescue. He earned a dollar. 

Rib Fest

The neighbors had "Rib Fest" today. The men prepared ribs and we voted for the best sauce and best ribs overall. The Welches did not leave as winners, but everyone had a great time. Jacob fell asleep the moment his head hit the pillow. We plan to spend Labor Day swimming and grilling out in Greenfield.
